All Stihl oils are suitable for air-cooled, mixture lubricated engines and have been tested for continuous use on STIHL engines with and without catalytic converters. Petrol/oil mixtures made from different STIHL oils can be mixed together without difficulty e.g. HP 2-stroke oil can be mixed with either HP Super or HP Ultra oil. By keeping the build- up of deposits to a minimum, engines can achieve a longer service life using HP Super. This is further increased by using the best lubricant in our range, HP Ultra. Below I have briefly explain in a video the other two strong elements of using Stihl's HP Super engine oil.
