The No. 50 is recommended for use with the 1/3 HP Series TX or new 1/6 HP Series SR motors in forward rotation only. The Chisel Handpiece reaches optimum performance when used between 3,000 10,000 rpm, and has a maximum speed of 18,000 rpm. We also recommend that it be used with a bench top dial speed control, in place of the more common foot pedal, to run steady within the lower speed range.
